Government expenditure on health in Israel 2014-2021

Government spending on health in Israel reached 91.23 billion Israeli shekels in 2021 (around 27.25 billion U.S. dollars). During the observed period, the government expenditure on health increased gradually. This rise might have been due to increasing public pressure on government to invest more into the public health system, alongside a demand by health workers for improvement in their employment conditions.
