This data presents the results of a survey on the share of German holidaymakers in Spain in 2020, by type of last vacation taken. That year, the last vacation trip for roughly 84 percent holidaymakers going to Spain was a summer or beach holiday. Among all German holidaymakers, this was the case for 61.4 percent.

The target group "Holidaymakers in Spain" means the German population of 14 years of age and older who had made their main holiday trip to Spain (duration 5 days or more) in the last 12 months at the time of the survey in the last 12 months their main holiday trip (incl. Balearic and Canary Islands).
