Current account goods balance of payments in Japan 2012-2021
In 2021, Japan recorded a current account goods surplus of approximately 1.7 trillion Japanese yen. The current account goods balance fluctuated wildly throughout the past decade, with its peak in being recorded in 2016 at more than 5.5 trillion yen, but also falling as low as a deficit of approximately -10.5 trillion yen in 2014.
