GDP growth rate in Spain compared to the average in the OECD 2005-2022
Both Spain and the members of the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) recorded a contraction of Gross Domestic Product (GDP) in 2020, followed by a remarkable high growth in the following year. The positive trend continued in 2022, with the Spanish economy growing 5.45 percent, while the OECD members recorded a 2.77 percent.
