This statistic shows the interest in working a gig economy job for extra income and flexibility in the United States in 2018, by income level. During the survey, 28 percent of respondents who make under 50,000 U.S. dollars would not be interested in working a gig economy job, compared to 30 percent of respondents who make between 50,000 and 100,000 U.S. dollars, and 33 percent of respondents who make over 100,000 U.S. dollars.
