Annual report of the Energy Department of the Ministero della Transizione Ecologica 2023

This governmental report presents the state of the energy and mining industries for hydrocarbons in Italy. The first main chapter reviews the security of these sectors (including energy production, extraction and drilling infrastructures, and accidents) and the environmental aspects. The second one focusses on hydrocarbons mining by region, and by location of the extraction sites (on-shore or off-shore). It reports the amount of hydrocarbons produced, stocked and present in reserves on the Italian territory, and the main companies of the sector.
