Mobile Payment Receptivity Index

MasterCard Mobile Payments Readiness Index (MPRI) provides a survey of the current state of the global mobile payment landscape, gauging the readiness and receptivity of 34 countries for mobile payments. The index is comprised of six components: environment (economy and scale), infrastructure (telecommunications and technology), regulation, financial services, consumer readiness, and mobile commerce clusters (the degree of integration and partnering among banks, telcos, and the government).
