As of October 2022, the minimum fare for traditional public utility jeepneys (PUJs) was 12 Philippine pesos. In comparison, the minimum fare for modern PUJs was two Philippine pesos higher. Meanwhile, the flag-down rate for taxis and sedan-type TNVS was around 45 Philippine pesos. The minimum fare of public transportation in the Philippines was raised in relation to the continued price hike of diesel and gasoline.
