As of December 2022, over a third of Zoomers worldwide had stopped driving a car to reduce their environmental impact, while a quarter of respondents intended to stop driving a car for this reason. In contrast, a lower share of Gen Z members had bought an electric vehicle, though over 40 percent intended to make that purchase.

Sample was taken from 44 countries across North America, Latin America, Western Europe, Eastern Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and Asia-Pacific, excluding Russia and Ukraine.
