Global revenue of the chemical industry 2017-2022, by region

In 2022, the chemical industry generated a total revenue of more than five trillion euros globally. Out of this figure, nearly 2.4 trillion euros were generated in China, which accounted for around 44 percent of the overall revenue that year. Meanwhile, the European chemical industry generated some 760 billion euros of revenue in 2022.
