This statistic shows the results of a survey conducted in Germany in 2018 on public agreement with various statements about the national political and economic systems. At the time of the survey, 60 percent of respondents agreed with the statement that because of the economic system the rich and powerful are favored.

The survey originates from the "Beyond populism? Revisited" study by Ipsos. 17,200 respondents were surveyed worldwide in the summer of 2018, on topics such as trust, populism and political disenchantment. Of these respondents more than 1,000 were from Germany.
