Share of employees in Russia 2021, by weekly hours worked and gender
In 2021, the share of female employees in Russia who worked between 9 and 30 hours a week on average was greater than that of men. However, when the average working time exceeded 40 hours, the distribution reversed significantly. Roughly 80 percent of those staying over 51 hours per week at work were men.
