Breakdown of domestic tourists Malaysia 2019, by ethnic group
In 2019, around 64 percent of all domestic tourists in Malaysia were Bumiputera, which is an ethnic group comprising both Malays and the indigenous peoples of Malaysia. In comparison, 21.7 percent of domestic tourists were of Chinese ethnicity.
