Opinion on human rights and foreign trade choices Japan 2019
According to a survey conducted by Ipsos in May 2019, around 34 percent of Japanese respondents agreed with the statement that the country should put human rights above economic benefits when considering foreign trade partners. Among 24 countries surveyed, Japan showed the largest share of respondents without a definitive response, accounting for around 49 percent.
