Volume of goods handled in Swedish ports by types of cargo 2022
In 2022, the total volume of goods handled in ports in Sweden amounted to roughly 168 million metric tons. During this year, the volume of unloaded goods amounted to around 91 million metric tons, while the volume of loaded goods amounted to about 77 million metric tons. In detail, liquid bulk constituted the largest part of the cargo, unloaded with over 35 million metric tons and loaded more than 19 million metric tons.
