Year-on-year change in education spending in European Union member states in 2017

Latvia increased it's spending on education by ten percent in 2017 compared to 2016, the highest of any European Union member state in that year. Romania, by contrast, cut education spending by 14.9 percent, which was the biggest year-on-year decrease in education spending in 2017.
