This statistic shows the main types of shares purchased in the stock market in France in February 2019. At that time, 53 percent of French people who were investing in the stock market had purchased shares of large companies listed on the CAC 40 stock market. 43 percent of them had invested in shares of other big companies listed on the stock market, but not on CAC 40.
