Estimated revenue loss in the Spanish tourism sector due to coronavirus 2020

As a result of the coronavirus pandemic (SARS-CoV-2), the Spanish tourism sector was expected to experience a revenue losses of nearly 40 billion euros in 2020 if the crisis continued between two and four months. In the event that the emergency situation persisted until September 2020, losses could potentially increase up to 62.4 billion euros.
