Average weekly working hours in Denmark 2011-2021
The number of actual weekly working hours in Denmark decreased gradually over the past 10 years, before increasing slightly again in 2021. That year, the number of actual average weekly working hours was 34.2. The trend over the past years is in line with a survey, where 15 percent of Danes stated that they wanted to work less during the week.
