Travel spending of inbound visitors in El Salvador 2010-2021, by purpose
In 2021, the annual travel spending of international tourists in El Salvador saw a considerable increased by those traveling for personal reasons. Meanwhile, inbound foreign tourists who traveled for professional reasons spent one million U.S. dollars less than was reported in 2020. Business travelers in El Salvador had the largest annual expenditure of the decade in 2010, where they spent 76 million U.S. dollars.
