Government expenditure on use of goods and services in Ghana 2019-2022
In the second quarter of 2022, government spending on goods and services added up to roughly two billion Ghanaian cedis (GHS) (approximately 161.7 million U.S. dollars), which was above the budget which had been allocated by the government to this sector at the same period in 2021. Overall, in the third quarter of 2022, the spending on goods and services was significantly lower compared to other expenses such as employee compensation.
