Yachts and cruise ships arriving in the Dominican Republic 2018-2022
In 2022, the number of cruise and yacht calls in the Domican Republic increased by 78 percent, respectively. In the previous year, the Caribbean country welcomed 172 cruise ships and 348 yachts at its ports. The Puerto Plata port, located in the north of the country, was the busiest Dominican port for cruise passengers in both years.
