Yachts and cruise ships arriving in the Dominican Republic 2018-2021
In 2021, the number of cruise and yacht calls in the Domican Republic increased by 15.3 and 102.3 percent, respectively. In the previous year, the Caribbean country welcomed 150 cruise ships and 148 yachts at its ports. The Puerto Plata port, located in the north of the country, was the busiest Dominican port for cruise passengers in both years.
