The coronavirus pandemic hit the global business tourism industry hard as the ability to travel was limited in order to reduce the spread of the virus. As a result, according to a September 2020 survey, travel managers expected a change in the price of travel services. About six in ten surveyed travel managers believed that hotel prices will go down, while airline prices will rise. Meanwhile, over half of the respondents did not expect the price of rental cars to change.
