Share of votes in the parliamentary election in Norway 2021, by electoral district

In Norway, the share of votes in the parliamentary election in 2021 varied according to the electoral district. While the Centre Party is particularly large in district counties such as Sogn og Fjordane, Hedmark and Nord-Trøndelag, the Liberal Party is larger in these areas than in the rest of the country. Moreover, the Conservative Party is less popular in the more rural counties Hedmark and Oppland and in the northern counties. The Christian Party collects most of its voters from the Southern and South-Western districts. Interestingly, the local party Patient Focus, which fights for the establishment of a local hospital in the region, gained 12.7 percent of the votes and thus a seat in the national parliament from Finnmark, the northernmost electoral district in Norway.
