Open source components account for the majority of codebases. In 2021, 64 percent of the open source codebases in the IoT sector contained vulnerabilities. Similarly, 60 percent of the open source in the aerospace, aviation, automotive, transportation and logistics sector were also exposed to vulnerabilities.
