South Korea: reasons for planning to travel abroad during COVID-19 by age 2022

According to a survey conducted by Rakuten Insight in South Korea in July 2022, around 57 percent of respondents aged 55 years and older who were planning on traveling abroad this year stated that they wanted to do so because they missed traveling. This was also the most common reason among most other age groups, with the exception of 25 to 34 and 35 to 44 year olds. These two age groups felt safe traveling due to being fully vaccinated.
