As of December 2021, China COSCO SHIPPING Cor., Ltd. had laid 195 container liner services in countries and regions participating in the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI), with a shipping capacity of about two million TEUs. COSCO SHIPPING's total investment in BRI countries amounted to 64.2 billion yuan.
