Export and import volume of plastic waste Vietnam 2021
In 2021, Vietnam imported around 364 thousand metric tons of plastic waste, while exporting less than eight thousand metric tons of the same commodity. Vietnam had been among the largest importers of plastic waste in recent years, with major trade partners being the United States and other Asian countries.
