Funding value of startup deals in South Africa 2020-2022
In 2022, South African startups managed to raise almost 640.18 million U.S. dollars in funding. This figure was lower compared to nearly 1.11 billion U.S. dollars secured in 2021, the highest in the period three years reviewed. Moreover, 95 startups in the country managed to close funding deals in 2022.
