Number of unicorn startups Singapore 2021, by industry
In 2021, Singapore had 20 startup unicorns, six of them were active in the technology and communication industry, while five were in the e-commerce industry. In the same year, Singapore ranked first based on the number of unicorn startups in the Southeast Asian region, followed by Indonesia and Vietnam.
