Payment options used by customers at accommodation establishments Australia 2023
In a survey conducted in 2023 among consumers of goods and services in Australia, around 59 percent of respondents reported often using physical credit or debit cards to pay at accommodation establishments. In comparison, only eight percent of those surveyed said they often used cash to pay at accommodation establishments. Buy Now Pay Later (BNPL) services were the least commonly used payment option among those surveyed.
