An April 2023 survey analyzed what types of discretionary expenses were considered as high priority among leisure travelers worldwide. Overall, 47 percent of respondents mentioned that leisure travel will be a high-priority expenditure in the year ahead. Meanwhile, less than a quarter of surveyed travelers said the same for big-ticket items.
