Insurance executives' hurdles in sustainability strategy implementation 2023
In 2023, current market volatility was seen as the biggest hurdle for insurance executives across the globe while implementing a sustainable investment strategy. The share of senior insurance professionals who believed that current market volatility was a major challenge was 54 percent. Furthermore, the ability to generate consistent returns and integrating sustainability into the asset allocation framework were also significant challenges for the implementation of a sustainable investment strategy, as more than 40 percent of insurance experts cited these factors.
