Share of employment in India - by gender and type 2015
The statistic represents the share of employment from the results of a 2015 survey among rural and urban households in India during April and December 2015, broken down by gender and type. Among the households that were surveyed, approximately four percent of males and more than three percent of females were employed as contract workers during that time period.
