Mexico: throughput tonnage 2014-2022, by coast
The volume of cargo handled in Mexican ports on the Pacific coast amounted to 9.9 million metric tons in 2022, up from 8.6 million metric tons reported a year earlier. On the Gulf of Mexico/Caribbean coast, the throughput tonnage reached approximately 12 million metric tons in 2022.
