Share of votes in the Icelandic parliamentary election 2021, by party
The Independence Party became the largest party in the parliamentary election in Iceland in 2021, with 24.4 percent of the votes. The Progressive Party and the Left-Green Movement became the second and third largest, respectively, making the three parties in the current government the three largest in the election. The current coalition is led by Katrin Jakobsdottir from the Left-Green Movement. Meanwhile, the Centre Party only just passed the five percent electoral threshold, whereas the Socialist Party landed below it.
