This statistic shows the national debt of the emerging market and developing economies from 2017 to 2021 in relation to gross domestic product (GDP), with projections up until 2027. The figures are aggregated and refer to the whole country respectively, and include the debts of the state, the communities, the municipalities and the social insurances. In 2021, the national debt of the emerging market and developing economies amounted to approximately 63.69 percent of GDP.
