Share of in-store payment methods in Sweden 2018, by amount spent

This statistic illustrates the most used in-store payment methods in Sweden according to a 2018 survey, by amount spent. Debit cards were the most used payment method for all amounts spent in shops in Sweden as of 2018. Only five percent of respondents had paid using cash for purchases over 500 Swedish krona (SEK) in the month previous to the survey compared to 85 percent that had used debit cards.
