Regional motor vehicle fleet in Chile 2020
In 2020, the Santiago Metropolitan Region ranked first as the Chilean region with the largest motor vehicle fleet at approximately 2.1 million units, dwarfing all other regions. The region of Valparaíso ranked second with around 581,000 vehicles in use that same year. Magallanes y Antártica and Aysén del General Carlos Ibáñez del Campo, the two most south regions of the country, ranked last with fleets of 70,200 and 41,200 units respectively.
