Statistics report about education in India
On July 29, 2020, the Union cabinet of India approved the National Education policy of India (NEP 2020). The NEP 2020 replaces the 34-year-old NEP which was released in 1986. This new policy is a comprehensive outline proposing sweeping changes to the status quo to drive forward the development of education in India. This includes, inter alia, revamping the school curriculum, making school and college education more holistic, flexible, and multidisciplinary to suit the needs of the 21st century.
