Australia: net overseas migration from Nepal 2021

In financial year 2021, it is estimated that nearly 2.3 thousand more Nepalese emigrated from Australia than migrated. This marked the first time in the last decade Australia recorded negative net overseas migration from Nepal. Since 2009 the lowest increase in Nepalese net migration occurred in 2011 with just over 700 new migrants.
