Non-EU immigration: opinion of Visegrád residents 2018

This statistic presents the public opinion of residents of the Visegrád Group countries (the Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland, and Slovakia) on immigration of people from outside the European Union (EU) in 2018.
In the Czech Republic, only one percent of the respondents had a very positive view on external immigration into the EU, while 49 percent expressed a very negative view. In Poland, 22 percent of the participants shared a fairly positive opinion. Among the total EU-28 respondents, 18 percent argued that the statement "Immigration of people from outside the EU" evoked a very negative feeling in them.
