Colombia: daily domestic tourism spending per person 2020, by category

In the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic, ground transport was the category were Colombian domestic tourists spent the most, according to a survey. Between April and June of 2020, each domestic traveler in the South American country spent on average nearly 16 thousand Colombian pesos in this category each day. Meanwhile, the daily spending per capita on food and beverage was around 14.4 thousand Colombian pesos. During that same period, domestic travelers in Colombia who visited relatives or friends stayed around two weeks in their destinations.
