Share of domestic travelers in Colombia 2021, by motive
Seeing relatives or friends was the most popular motivation among Colombians to travel for at least one night within the country in 2021, according to a survey. In that year, nearly 50 percent of Colombian respondents traveled for for that reason. Leisure travel and holidays motivated the trips of another 44 percent of domestic tourists during the same period.
