Share of domestic travelers in Colombia 2022, by motive
Holidays and recreation was the most popular motivation among Colombians to travel for at least one night within the country in 2022, according to a survey. In that year, roughly 51 percent of Colombian respondents traveled for that reason. Visiting relatives and friends motivated the trips of another 41 percent of domestic tourists during the same period.
