Opinions of Japanese freelancers on how freelance work could be improved 2018
In an online survey of 2018, about 63.6 percent of freelancers in Japan stated that the establishment of a safety net for childbirth, child-rearing and caregiving was necessary to make freelance work an easier option to choose. A majority of respondents addressed the topics health insurance, pensions and more flexibility in changing between different forms of work.
