Revenue share from VAS of leading 100 property managers in China 2015-2018
In 2018, the leading 100 property management companies in China generated 19.5 percent of their total revenue from value-added services (VAS). Another 80.5 percent of total revenue was earned from basic management services. As VAS often require minimal additional resources and therefore the profit margin of VAS is much higher than that of basic management services, property managers tried to expanded these services in recent years to increase revenue and profit.
