Awareness about the Berlin Wall by age Russia 2019

The awareness about the Berlin Wall in Russia in 2019 increased with age of survey participants. While 64 percent of Russians aged 60 knew well about its history, only 15 percent of respondents betwen 18 and 24 years old could say the same. A worrying share of 18 percent of representatives of the youngest age category admitted that they heard about the Berlin Wall for the first time while they were interviewed.
