Assets from banks in Luxembourg 1994-2018

Based on the assets displayed in the industry's balance sheet, banks in the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg recorded a growing activity in 2018. Assets from the banking sector grew by nearly 25 billion euros between 2017 and 2018, an increase of three percent. The source states this was due to a large increase (nine percent) of loans and advances to central banks and general governments, whereas loans to customers increased with nearly six percent.
