Italy: coronavirus impact on freelancers revenues 2020

The spread of coronavirus (COVID-19) in Italy impacted a wide range of economic activities significantly. A survey from March 2020 asked Italian freelancers how they think this situation will affect the revenues of their work. About 34 percent of respondents believed that their revenues will decrease between 30 and 60 percent. In fact, according to another survey from 2020, roughly 89 percent of freelancers stated that their commissions were either suspended or cancelled.

Italy is one of the countries with the highest number of coronavirus cases worldwide. This virus has now infected people in over 100 countries across six continents.
