Monthly global shipbuilding order volume 2020
Between January and February 2020, the global shipbuilding order volume was reduced by more than half, falling from 750,000 cgt to 300,000 cgt.
The Chinese shipbuilding industry, where order volume fell drastically over this period, was hit hard by the disruptions related to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.
